Eagle’s Minimum Essential Medium (EMEM)
EMEM is a widely used medium that contains a high concentration of amino acids. Select from common variations, modify components and concentration, and get it delivered in the format you require.
Eagle’s Minimal Essential Medium (EMEM) was developed by Harry Eagle and differs from (MEM) with the inclusion of non-essential amino acids (NEAA). There are also many popular variations to EMEM, each having been adapted to work best with specific cell lines, and it is commonly modified with or without the presence of L-Glutamine, Phenol Red, HEPES, and more.
Nucleus Biologics’ strategy for media supply and manufacturing are unique to the industry. We don’t only provide media with defined specifications for you to choose from, but instead build media based on your desired specifications. Start with our recommended EMEM formula or choose from a list of publicly available supplier formulations and easily add, remove, or adjust components and concentrations for a custom variation — your intellectual property. EMEM is manufactured in facilities using GMP guidance and in compliance to ISO 13485:2016.
Cell culture media is for research or further manufacturing. Not for direct administration into humans or animals.
